Karl Denson is the touring saxophonist for The Rolling Stones, leader of The Tiny Universe and co-founder of the seminal jazz revivalists The Greyboy Allstars.
” was very young when I realized that writing songs was the ultimate path to artistic freedom and a possible career. Over the years, I’ve written a lot of songs, in many different styles, from many genres. I’ve now been given the exciting opportunity to place them in the hands of some of today’s best and brightest. With the help of The Blue Note I will be putting together an overview of my work over the last 40 years, and looking forward. I will be joined by the stellar cast of Keyon Harrold on trumpet, James Francies on keys, Jermaine Paul on bass and Blaque Dynamite on drums.”
