Opening Reception for “LIGHTFAST: Intertwine”

Lightfast: Intertwine is a vibrant multidisciplinary installation created by visual artists Christel Dillbohner and Danae Mattes, musician/composer Monica Scott, and writer Sylvia Brownrigg.

In Intertwine, the quartet combines media to create a rich visual, sculptural and audio environment that engages with the changing natural world and our place within it. The exhibition reflects and responds to di Rosa’s varied landscape and lakeside setting: its water and light, its flora and fauna, its natural and human history. Separately and together, the pieces of Intertwine draw on the realm of the subconscious to heighten viewers’ awareness and perceptions of their surroundings.
